Mr Fire's Kitchen is a cozy café spot tucked inside a beauty supply and salon space on Matheson Blvd, making it feel a bit like a local secret. Its main draw is clearly the Turkish coffee, brewed with genuine care and served with the thick foam that aficionados look for. The space itself is quite compact, with just a few small tables ideal for a quick sit-down rather than a long stay. This makes it a good stop for those needing a caffeine fix while running errands or for a casual catch-up without the rush of a crowded coffee shop.

The atmosphere is quietly welcoming, shaped in large part by the friendly service behind the counter. The lady running the café is warm and attentive, adding a sense of hospitality that turns this small corner into a personable spot rather than just another grab-and-go place. The scent of freshly brewed coffee blends well with the occasional aromas from their savory pastries, like the potato and ground beef börek, which make great grabs alongside the morning or afternoon cup.

People who appreciate authentic Turkish coffee with a smooth, rich character will find this spot particularly rewarding. The menu extends beyond coffee to include comforting bowls such as chicken or beef with rice and salad, and small baked treats like the chocoete cookie and peach tart offer a sweet balance. The lentil soup has been mentioned as a nice option on colder days, providing a warm, hearty choice in a compact space.

Since the seating is minimal and shared with the adjacent salon, it’s best to visit during off-peak hours for a relaxed experience. Early mornings or weekday afternoons tend to be quieter, offering space to enjoy your drink and snack without feeling hurried. For locals, this place fits into a routine of quick, quality coffee or a small bite on the go, rather than a lingering coffeehouse hangout.

Overall, Mr Fire's Kitchen serves as a modest yet distinctive spot for those who know what they’re after—a no-frills, expertly made Turkish coffee paired with fresh pastries, all within a low-key, friendly environment in the heart of Mississauga’s Matheson strip.

**Coffee Review** Great coffee, nice service, great pricing. It shares the same entrance door as the beauty supply store. It has a couple of small tables if you want to sit and enjoy your coffee. The lady behind the counter is super friendly and kind. Tried the americano and the cortado and both were great. Where else in the city can you get an americano for $2.50 ?!? Next time I’ll definitely try some of their food.

Stepped into this place for a quick bite on a cold day. The eatery is inside the Pro-Beauty salon/shop, on a side. There were only two tables, two chairs each. There was a group of 3, occupying three chairs. I took the remaining one. There was a kind lady on the counter. Ordered a lentil soup, and Mr. Fire’s Borek. Lentil soup was served hot, borek was fresh. They carry a small quantity of fresh items, I am assuming to avoid waste. Unfortunately I was in a rush and did not get a chance to try their coffee. Nice spot but should have more settings available at least for a handful of people.

Love this little place. The Turkish coffee is amazing, the mini bureks are so tasty, and the lady serving is the sweetest—with a warm smile.

One thing about Turkish folks is they know how to make a mean cup of tea! Honestly I’ve never had a basic cup of tea taste so good. He added oregano and it was a great touch. If you’re ever looking for a quick snack, ask for the Mr. Fire special and he’ll hook you up

We had an incredible experience at this cafe! Chef Isik operates a haven for Turkish coffee lovers! His selection of Turkish coffees is unparalleled and the skill required to brew a thick cup of Mehmet Efendi Turkish coffee with a precious thick foam top with a cezve is meant to be experienced and savored by all coffee lovers. Accompanying this treasured cup of coffee is a small chaser of water and your sweet reward is a Lokum (Turkish delight) for a sweet finish. We loved our time at this charming cafe and can't wait to come back to have another Turkish coffee experience. I wanted to bring the experience home so I purchased three bags Turkish coffee to brew at home in my cezve / ibrik and also left with a delicious box of pistachio Turkish delight. Highly highly recommended!

This place is amazing! The food is so fresh and delicious, and the staff are super friendly. The owner is awesome—so nice and easy to talk to, it felt like chatting with a friend. They even gave me some appetizers to try and said if I didn’t like my coffee, they’d remake it for free! The service is top-notch, everyone is so smiley and welcoming. I was blown away by how good the food was—I ended up buying two extra bowls to take home. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Where Turkish warmth meets perfect coffee. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 — Cozy Turkish Café with Heart What a delightful surprise discovering Mr. Fire’s Kitchen — a Turkish café that instantly makes you feel at home! From the moment we walked in, AZMIYE greeted us with genuine warmth and a bright smile. She patiently explained the menu and Turkish treats, making our visit not just about food but about connection. That personal touch made all the difference. We ordered espresso, macchiato, olive börek, and beef börek — each freshly baked, golden, and crisp on the outside with rich, flavorful fillings. The coffee was strong, smooth, and perfectly balanced — a true taste of Turkey in every sip. The café’s vibe is inspiring — from the uplifting quote on the wall, “The best thing I ever did was believe in me,” to the cheerful sign that says “It’s a good day to have a good day.” Every corner radiates positivity and charm. You can also browse a lovely selection of Turkish products — Casvaa pistachio and Turkish coffee, Doğa Life herbal oils, Ülker and Halley biscuits, Berrak sauces, and more. It’s part café, part boutique — a little piece of Istanbul right in the heart of Mississauga. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates authentic Turkish coffee, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. This place is hidden out as it's inside the salon supplies store, so.you are not lost or wrong as you get to the plaza ! We met the owner and he wasn't super welcoming and helpful ... We tried the cheese and the potato borek. They are homemade and the cheese was our favorite for sure ! We also tried their Turkish coffee and tres leches cake, both were super yummy! If you are in a mood for quick Turkish bite or a Turkish dessert in Mississauga, this is your spot! Plus their have some Turkish merchandise they sell at the location.
